VOYTEK PRONIEWICZ

Voytek Proniewicz graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the class of Prof. Mirosław Ławrynowicz.

As a soloist, Voytek has given concerts with the Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Wrocław Philharmonic Orchestra, Rzeszów Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Viva and Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra conducted by, inter alia, Jan Krenz and Jerzy Maksymiuk. The artist has performed in the leading concert halls such as: National Philharmonic in Warsaw, Rudolfinum Czech Philharmonic in Prague, Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk,  Lublin Philharmonic, Rzeszów Philharmonic, Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice, Witold Lutosławski Concert Hall of Polish Radio in Warsaw and Royal Castle in Warsaw. He appeared in Vienna, Paris, Madrid, Brussels, Vilnius, Prague, Palermo, Shanghai, Hongkong and Caracas.

In the commemoration of the Year of Chopin, the young artist recorded his debut CD entitled  „Pupils of Chopin” for the world-renowned NAXOS music publishing house. Together with Camerata Vistula music ensemble, Voytek took part in the recording of Apolinary Szeluto's artistic work for the DUX music publishing company. The CD was nominated for the Fryderyk 2009 award. In 2012, together with Konstanty Andrzej Kulka and Camerata Vistula ensemble, he recorded selected works of Karol Lipiński for the CD Accord music publishing company.

In may 2009, together with Sinfonia Viva Orchestra, Voytek Proniewicz made the world premiere performance of Krzesimir Dębski composition “Dos Lid Far Jidisze Fidl” for violin and string orchestra. In February 2010, Voytek concerted with Konstanty Andrzej Kulka and Camerata Vistula in Caracas, and in July of the same year, in a duo with Janusz Olejniczak the artist performed at a prestigous festival Veranos de la Villa in Madrid. In July 2011 the violinist played at the Festival of Chopin's music in the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, and in August 2011, as accompanied by the Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, at the Mozartiana Mozart Festival in Gdańsk. In July 2012, he performed with the Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra conducted by Jerzy Maksymiuk, at the Jerzy Waldorff Summer Festival in Radziejowice.

The artist is a laureate of a great deal of violin competitions, inter alia, 1st prize at the 6th Silesian International Violin Competition in Zabrze (1998), 3rd prize at the Beethoven International Competition in Hradec nad Moravici, the Czech Republic (1998), 1st prize at the 5th S. Serwaczyński National Violin Competition for Young Violinists in Lublin (2002), 3rd prize at the 15th Kiejstut Bacewicz International Chamber Music Contest in Łódź (2004) and a distionction  at the Karol Szymanowski International Competition in Łódź (2005).

Moreover, Voytek has participated in music festivals: Jerzy Waldorff Summer Festival in Radziejowice, Festival of Polish Chamber Music in Warsaw, „Masters of  Polish Violin Art” Music Festival in Zielona Góra, Muestra Internacional Musica de Camara festival in Murcia, Warsaw Musical Meetings Festival, International Festival of Student Orchestras in Prague, International Festival of Young Laureates of Music Competition organized by the Institution of Promotion and Popularization of Music “Silesia”.

WOJCIECH WALECZEK

Polish pianist known for his non-compromising approach to piano performance. Artist, born in 1980, has been pursuing a robust concert career playing symphonic concerts as well as solo and chamber recitals worldwide.

He has graduated with a distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in a piano class of Prof. Zbigniew Raubo in 2003. He continued his studies with Prof. Lee Kum-Sing in the Vancouver Academy of Music, Canada.

His numerous achievements include:

- The 3rd prize, Arthur Rubinstein Prize founded by Aniela Rubinstein and a special prize of the Kościuszko Foundation in New York at The 2nd International Competition for Young Pianists "Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam" in Bydgoszcz, Poland (1996),

- The 1st prize and the prize for the best performance of a concerto at the 4th F. Liszt National Piano Competition in Wrocław, Poland (1997),

- The 3rd prize at the 7th F. Liszt International Piano Competition "Premio Mario Zanfi" in Parma, Italy (2000),

- The 2nd prize at the Young Musicians` Festival in Gdansk, Poland (2002),

- The 3rd prize at the 6th International Piano Seiler Competition in Palermo, Italy (2005),

- The 3rd prize at the 3rd F. Liszt International Piano Competition in Wrocław, Poland (2005).

He has performed as a soloist with the orchestras of the following philharmonics: Kalisz, Karlovy Vary, Kielce, Koszalin, Lublin, Łódź, Opole, Pomeranian, Rzeszów, Toruń, Szczecin, Wrocław, Zabrze, Sinfonia Iuventus, Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot, Capella Bydgostiensis, Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Elbląg Chamber Orchestra, Kaposvar Symphony Orchestra, National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova and Amman Symphony Orchestra. He co-operated with many conductors, including: M. J. Błaszczyk, Ł. Borowicz, K. Bumann, G. Chmura, S. Chrzanowski, M. Diadiura, M. Dworzyński, Chang Joon-Gun, M. Gawroński, Cz. Grabowski, I. Hobson, G. Kerenyi, V. Kiradijev, J. Kosek, M. Lebel, M. Nesterowicz, M. Metelska, O. Palymsky, D. Pavilionis, M. Pijarowski, W. Rajski, J. Rogala, Z. Rychert, J. Salwarowski, M. Smolij, R. Silva, M. U. Sidiq, M. Sugar, P. Veneri, T. Wojciechowski, M. Wolniewski, J. M. Zarzycki.

Wojciech Waleczek gives a lot of concerts in Poland and abroad. He has performed in the European Union, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Russia, Jordan, Palestina, Iran, Japan, Argentina, and the USA receiving new invitations. His play is admired both by critics and the public.
