Fukami Madoka

Madoka received a unanimous First Prize for her Master of Piano with distinction at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, Diploma] at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris.

Madoka is currently pursuing advanced study with Abdel Rahman El Bacha and Maria João Pires at prestigious institution the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, where she is soloist in residence since 2013.

Winner of over ten international competitions including" Porto", "Vienna Rosario Marciano", "Morocco Philharmony", "Istanbul Orchestra’Sion", and also a prestigious diploma of "International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw",

Today Madoka already has a flourishing international career in which she has collaborated with several orchestras, released a first album in 2010, and participated in numerous festivals.

She also gives numerous recitals throughout Europe, in Morocco and in Asia. She has performed in France Musique, France 2, SF Télévision Suisse, and TVE (Televisión Española) programmes. Most recently, she has performed numerous concertos with The Tokyo Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra, the Pasdeloup Orchestra, The Porto National Philharmonic Orchestra, and the quintet of the NHK Symphony Orchestra .

Also as a chamber musician, She performs regularly with her violinist partner Joseph André, cellist partner Julie Sevilla-Fraysse, as well as her Trio, André-Trio.

An enthusiast of French music and contemporary music, she has played in various world premieres and national creations in Japan.

She is preparing a recital plan to play all the Debussy etudes and all the piano works of Maurice Ravel. (Auditorium of Musée d'Orsay in January 2015).

 

Alongside this professional activity, she is always pursuing advanced study at Paris Conservatory, she is now preparing her Master of Pianoforte and Chamber Music. She was winner of the scholarships by l’Académie Française, Yamaha foundation of Europe, Zaleski Foundation, Oriolis Prize, ADAMI, Mécénat Musical Société Générale, and the Meyer Foundation.
