Rafał Kobyliński born in 1989 in Wałbrzych, Poland. Completed first degree piano studies under Prof. Hanna Kryjak at “Karol Szymanowski” Academy of Music in Katowice. Currently studying under Prof. Zbigniew Faryniarz at “Karol Lipiński” Academy of Music in Wrocław. Prize-winner of piano competitions, e.g. German-Polish “Hiller” Piano Competition (Görlitz/Zgorzelec, 2008 - 1st place), 10th Piano Competition of Kłodzko (Kłodzko, 2000 - 1st place), Nationwide Piano Competition of the Polish Radio BIS “Haydn Junior” (Warsaw, 2002).

Finalist of the 1st Nationwide Competition for Duets with Piano in Warsaw in 2012. In the school-year 2002/2003, he was granted a scholarship by the Academy of Development and Philanthropy in Poland within the Special Fund „Agrafka Muzyczna” [Music Safety Pin].
