Krowka Dobrochna
She was born in 1986, currently studying in the second year at the Academy of Music in Krakow under Prof Stefan Wojtas, simultaneously leading active artistic activity.
As the first woman in the world, she performed Wojciech Kilar's Piano Concerto G Major during the Composer's Jubilee in Krakow in October 2002. Prizewinner of numerous domestic and international piano competitions. Won, among others, International Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Rome, in the age group up to 20 (2003), 2nd International Piano Competition "Chopin" in memory of the Hungarian pianist Gyorgy Frenczy (Budapest, 26.06. - 02.07.2006 ) and Polish national piano competitions. Awarded with scholarships of the President of the Ministers' Council (2001) and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2000, 2002 i 2004). Received the Prize of the Mayor of the City of Krakow (2002) and the Educational Prize of the City of Krakow (2004).
