Anna Lipiak (born in 1992) is considered as one of the most talented Polish pianists of the young generation, admired for her poetic musicality, beautiful tone and a sense of freedom on stage. Her talent was discovered very early, at the age of 5 she was introduced to the piano. She has already performed 140 piano recitals in 15 countries on 2 continents: Asia – India (Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai), Indonesia (Bali), Vietnam (Hanoi), Nepal (Kathmandu, Patan), Europe - Italy (Venice, Milan, Padova, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Brescia, Abano Terme, San Dona di Piave), Germany (Leipzig, Bremen, Goerlitz, Goslar, Geilenkirchen), Bulgaria (Kamchia, Sofia, Burgas), Turkey, (Ankara), Norway (Spangereid), France (Montrond les Bains), The Czech Republic (Cesky Tesin), Croatia (Karlovac), Slovakia (Ruzomberok), Cyprus (Nicosia). She has appeared also in Poland in such prestigious concert halls as: The National Philharmonic Hall in Warsaw, The Pomeranian Philharmonic Hall in Bydgoszcz, The National Music Forum in Wroclaw, The Frederic Chopin Museum – Warsaw, The Frederic Chopin Manor House – Duszniki Zdroj, The Auschwitz Culture Centre, The Pomeranian Dukes' Castle – Slupsk and others.
Anna has claimed top prizes at 20 international piano competitions, including 1st prizes in Italy: (Padua 2016, Piove di Sacco 2014, Gussago, Brescia 2013), Poland (Krakow 2013), Slovakia ( Ruzomberok 2012), the 2nd prize in Croatia (Karlovac 2015), the 3rd prize in Germany (Görlitz 2011, 2010), the 4th prize in France (Montrond les Bains 2013) She was also a finalist at the Chopin National Piano Competition in Warsaw - Poland (2013) and International "Fausto Zadra" Piano Competition in Abano Terme in Italy (2018).
In 2018 she graduated from the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz in the class of professor Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron and Jerzy Sulikowski. From 2010-2016 she was studying with Grzegorz Niemczuk, one of the most active polish pianist.
She has also worked with such distinguished artists as: Dang Thai Son (2016, 2018), Arie Vardi (2016), Andrzej Jasinski (2010-2013, 2015), Boris Petrushansky (2012), Alexey Orlovetsky (2011-2013, 2015), Jeffrey Swann (2013), Claudio Martinez Mehner (2013), Norma Fisher (2018), Dina Yoffe (2018).
In 2021 she received a scholarship for artists granted by the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sport for the project “The Heritage of Polish Music”. In 2019 Lipiak, as one of the first female Polish pianist had an extremely successful concert tour in India and Indonesia, performing 8 Chopin recitals. In 2018 Lipiak, as the one of the best graduated, performed Liszt Piano Concerto no.1 in E flat major in the Pomeranian Philharmonic Hall in Bydgoszcz conducted by Michal Dworzynski. In December 2013 she made her debut as a soloist performing 2nd Piano Concerto in F minor op. 21 by F. Chopin, together with the Polish Radio Orchestra directed by Marek Mos in Warsaw. In 2017 the pianist became a laureate of the prestigious scholarship programme "Young Poland" granted by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. The same year she was honoured to receive the Student Nobel Prize for the best student of art in Poland. She also received scholarships from: the Marshal of the province Pomerania (2018), Yamaha Music Vietnam (2018), the Minister of Science and Higher Education in Poland(2012, 2013, 2015), President of the Silesian University for outstanding artistic achievements (2012-2015) and Association of Support Talented Youth in Zgorzelec (2006).
