Michalski Michał
Michał Michalski, a polish pianist was born in 1994 in Wroclaw. He finished his master’s degree studies with a distinction in The Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw under the supervision of prof. Pawel Zawadzki. Nowadays he continues his musical education for the PhD studies in the same Academy of Music also with prof. Paweł Zawadzki.
He is a laureats of many national and international piano competitions:
- 3rd prize at 12. International Chopin Piano Competition in Mariánské Lázně (2019)
- Medalla at Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Barcelona (2018)
- 1st prize at International Piano Competition in Livorno (2017)
- 6th prize. at 47th National Chopin Piano Competition in Katowice (2016)
- 1st prize at National Piano Competition Yamaha Music Foundation in Europe in Cracow (2014)
- 2nd prize at International Piano Competition Ville de Gagny in Paris (2013).
Michał Michalski has performed a lot of concerts in Poland and abroad. He was performing during the 71st International Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdroj (Poland), 8th International Mozart Festival in Turin, Chopin's evenings in Warsaw, 7th International Music Festival Sacrum non profanum in Trzesacz, Young talents in Chopin Museum in Warsaw and Polish Library in Paris.
In October 2015 JB Records company released the first Michał Michalski album, on which he presented the pieces by Beethoven, Granados, de Falla, Prokofiev.
Artist has been honored many times with the Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and Scholarship of the President of Wroclaw.
