3rd - Hisako Hirata (Japan) - 15.000 zlotys

3rd - Wojciech Waleczek (Poland) - 15.000 zl
each founded by the Lower Silesia Office and Wroclaw Municipality

4th - Michael Schneider (USA) – 5.000 zl
founded by STOART (Performing Artists Association).

Distinction for the youngest semi-finalist – Andriy Lunov (Ukraine)

Grzegorz Niemczuk (Poland) - Special prize of 1000 euro
for the best competitor playing on the ‘Blüthner’

Lower Silesian Philharmonic in Jelenia Góra - invitation for the best Polish competitor to an evening recital or to participate in the concert cycle "Philharmonic for Young" with Lower Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra in the season 2005/2006.


"Arthur Rubinstein" Philharmonic in Lodz - invitation for a laureate to perform with £ódŸ Philharmonic Orchestra on a concert in the season 2006/2007 or 2007/2008.

"J. Elsner"" Philharmonic in Opole - invitation for a laureate to perform with Opole Philharmonic Orchestra on a concert in the season 2006/2007.

"I. J. Paderewski" Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz - invitation for a laureate to perform with Chamber Orchestra Capella Bydgostiensis on a concert in the season 2006/2007.

‘T. Szeligowski’ Philharmonic in Poznan - invitation for a laureate to perform with Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra on a concert in the season 2006/2007.

Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice - invitation for a laureate to perform with Katowice Philharmonic Orchestra on a concert in the season 2006/2007 or 2007/2008.

Sudettic Philharmonic in Walbrzych - invitation for a laureate to perform with Sudecka Philharmonic Orchestra on a Friday concert in the season 2006/2007.

"O. Kolberg" Swietokrzyska Philharmonic in Kielce - invitation for the winner to perform with Swientokrzyska Philharmonic Orchestra on a concert in the season 2006/2007.

"W. Lutoslawski" Philharmonic in Wroclaw - invitation for the winner to perform with the Symphonic Orchestra of Wroclaw Philharmonic. The concert date will be specified later.

Zabrze Philharmonic in Zabrze - invitation for the winner to perform with Zabrze PhilharmonicOrchestra on a concert in the season 2006/2007 or 2007/2008.

Institution of Promotion and Popularisation of Music "SILESIA" in Katowice - invitation for a laureate to recitals on 26 October 2005 (Polish Radio Concert Hall in Katowice) within 15th International Festival for Young Laureates of Music Competitions.

F. Liszt Society in Poland - invitation for laureates to recitals on 27, 29, 30 October 2005 within the monthly concert cycle "Liszt Evenings" (in Wroclaw - Philharmonic Concert Haal, Brzeg and Oborniki Slaskie).

F. Liszt Society in Spain - invitation for the top-prize winner to recitals in Zaragoza Auditorium in Zaragoza, Spain, in October 2005 and possibly also in Madrid.

Fraz-Liszt-Verein Raiding (Austria) - invitation for the top-prize winner to recitals in F. Liszt Museum in Raiding. Date to be specified.

'Julius Blüthner' will issue the competition CD.
Liszt Ferenc Akademy of Music in Budapest - invitation for laureates to concert.

'Julius Blüthner' Piano Manufactory will make 'Blüthner' concert grand- piano available to the competitors, who will have choice between this piano and 'Steinway' grand-piano.
