Krivoruchko Misha

Misha Krivoruchko was born in Mariupol, Ukraine, but soon relocated and grew up in Poland. There he entered Karol Szymanowski State Secondary Music School in Katowice, where he studied with Zbigniew Raubo,also receiving lessons from Andrzej Jasinski. Misha participated in masterclasses with Karl-Heinz Kammerling, Anna Malikova and Konstantin Scherbakov. Since 2009, he studied under the guidance of prof. Rustem Hayroudinoff at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he achieved Academy's highest performing award - Dip. RAM.

 

Misha has given concerts in many Polish cities, including Witold Lutoslawski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio in Warsaw. His performances were broadcasted on Polish television.

 

Other venues include Geneva Conservatoire, London Steinway Hall or Birmingham Barber Institute. Misha was also awarded several national prizes in Poland, including 6th prize in NIFC Chopin Competition in Warsaw, and participated in many festivals around the country. Most recent appearances include: NOSPR, Chopin National Institute, St Martin-in-the-Fields, also his performance in “En attendant Chopin”by Michal Znaniecki. His musical interests range from core classical repertoire to lesser known gems, as well as chamber music and operatic repertoire.

 

Since 2016 he combines his international artistic activity with cooperation with Silesian Opera as a pianist-tutor.
