Rydel Paweł

A pianist from Gdansk educated in his hometown under Prof. Katarzya Popowa-Zydron and Prof. Waldemar Wojtal.
Currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Piano at the "Stanislaw Moniuszko" Academy of Music in Gdansk. He perfected his skills in solo and chamber music performance in many master classes working under the guidance of numerous distinguished artists -educators (Andrzej Jasinski, Kevin Kenner, Jean-Paul-Sevilla, Andrzej Tatarski, Jadwiga Kaliszewska, Mark Lubotsky, Henry Meyer, Marek Mos and Maria Szwajger-Kulakowska).
He has won top prizes at piano and chamber music competitions, such as the 1st Nationwide F. Liszt Competition for the Scholarships in Wroclaw (1991), 3rd Nationwide I.J. Paderewski Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz (1994), 1st Chamber Music Competition in Zakopane (with violinist Andrzej Kacprzak - 1998), and Jury Prize at the International Piano Competition in Bremen (Germany - 1999).
Conducts regular concert activity both as a soloist and chamber musician performing in many concert halls in Poland and other European countries (including Russia, Germany, Norway, Ukraine, Italy).
