Photos and recordings from the 24th International Master Course for Pianists (13-25 August 2017)
The course attracted a lot of interest. Using all the possibilities for accommodation and the timetable for classrooms, we could not accept three candidates.
The course was attended by 25 pianists from China, Japan, South Korea and Poland.
They were students and graduates of:
Music Academies in Bydgoszcz, Katowice, Krakow, Poznan, Wroclaw, Artistic Department of the Silesian University in Cieszyn, Chopin University in Warsaw, l’Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris (Anne Quefelec), Beijing Contemporary Music Academy, Wuhan Conservatory of Music, Department of piano in College of Music of Daegu Catholic University, Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, Ewa Lawrence School of Music, Central Conservatory of Music Middle School Beijing, PZSM in Bydgoszcz, Music School in Bytom, Complex of Music Schools in Bielsko-Biała, Complex of Music Schools in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz, Secondary Music Schools in Krosno, in Torun, in Warsaw.
The participants were provided with:
active and passive participation in nearly 100 hours of classes with the course professors (Andrzej Jasiński and Roman Salyutov) and concert rehearsals, 5 theoretical lectures: ''Mozart - Chopin, interpretation, practicing” - lecture-concert (Prof. A. Jasiński), perception of sound, acoustics of concert halls, recording techniques, in the Department of Acoustics at the Wroclaw University of Technology (dr Maurycy Kin), á vista piano playing and functioning of the piano (Juliusz Adamowski).
The course included five concerts (at the Wroclaw Philharmonic Hall, Music and Literature Club in Wroclaw, Silesian Piast Dynasty Castle in Brzeg, Chopin Manor House in Duszniki Zdrój) with participation of 16 soloists from 4 countries. The concert in Duszniki was livestreamed on the Internet, recorded and available on YouTube.
