The Course is, first of all, for those artists who want to take part in international and other music competitions. It is not obligatory, though. Applicants can submit any soloist repertoire or for piano duets.
Qualification to the course will be based on artistic biography of the candidate and the order of applications.
Classes will take place at the Music and Literature Club www.klubmil.pl on 10 Kosciuszki Square (pl. Kosciuszki 10) and at the Wroclaw Philharmonic Concert Hall (19 Pilsudski St.).
Practice facilities will be available at the "Ryszard Bukowski" Secondary Music School (68/69 Podwale St.).
Classes will be simultaneously translated into Polish, English, German if needed.
Accommodation is provided at the Savoy Hotel (**standard) www.savoy.wroc.pl at pl. T. Kościuszki 19, which is 600 m far from the Philharmonic Concert Hall, 100 m from the Music and Literature Club, and about 800 m from the central railway station. Accommodation for accompanying persons can be booked only if requested before 31st July 2015.
Full-board at the Savoy Hotel, lunch at the Restaurant "Galicja” (ul. Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego 66 – opposite the Music Theatre CAPITOL) about 150 m from theHotel Savoy.
Course fee for active participation is 780 EUR (or its equivalent in exchangable currency) for soloist, 680 EUR for member of piano duets, and for passive participation - 500 EUR. The fee includes active or passive participation in the course, accommodation (in double room) for the nights between 16/17 and 27/28 August, full-board (3 meals per day, starting with supper on 16th August and finishing with breakfast on 28th August, and unlimited practicing opportunities.
An active participation includes three lessons with the chosen professor or two lessons with each of the professors and rehearsals for the course concerts (if the candidate is selected). For active and passive participants there are also theoretical lectures (on teaching piano playing "á vista"- "without preparation", on assessing piano condition, on the acoustics of concert halls, sound perception and recording techniques). The charge for participants who do not ask for hotel accommodation will be reduced by 300 EUR and the charge for those who do not ask for board will be reduced by 150 EUR.
Concerts. Five concerts of participants will be held during the course:
17th August - opening concert at the Music and Literature Club in Wroclaw
22st August - concert in the F. Chopin Manor House in Duszniki Zdrój
23rd August - concert in Philharmonic Concert Hall in Wroclaw
25nd August - concert in Brzeg (Silesian Piast Dynasty Castle in Brzeg - one of the most beautiful Renaissance castles in Poland
27th August - short concert at the Music and Literature Club in Wroclaw
Professor will select performers for these concerts from all the participants.
At all concerts programmes, photos of Professors and Participants will be published.
Additionally, there is a possibility of other concerts closed for public.
Diplomas. During an informal meeting after the last concert, all the participants will receive diplomas of participation. It will take place on 27th August at the Music and Literature Club in Wroclaw.
Applications for the course are expected to be sent by email on the application form in rtf available here, with a photo (a portrait photo of the applicant`s face as a separate attachement) and short biographic note by 20th June 2015 to the tifl@poczta.fm
An applicant is asked to pay the registration fee of 120 EUR to the account of Towarzystwo im. Ferenca Liszta no. PL 18 1050 1575 1000 0022 9094 3675 - (ING Bank Śląski SA Oddział we Wrocławiu - Poland) - Swift code INGBPLPW before sending his or her application. Bank operation costs outside Poland must be covered by the applicants themselves.
The registration fee will be refunded only if there is no possibility to admit an applicant. The remaining part of the fee will have to be paid as specified in the letter confirming acceptance of the applicant to the course.
The written affirmative acknowledgment of participation at the course will be sent to all accepted applicants not later than 1st July 2015.

Visa. Due to changes in the international regulations, all foreign applicants are asked to check at their local authorities or at a Polish Embassy whether the visas are neccessary for them to come to Poland.
